Ours is a small family owned wine estate based at Dromana on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia. Our vineyard has, over the years, metamorphosed into an iconic site in a region that is now achieving international acclaim for its wines. At up to 25 years of age, the vines are amongst the oldest in our region and this vine maturity undoubtedly confers something special on what we eventually put in the bottle.

In the quarter of a century that we have been involved the wine industry we have seen the amazing growth of small producers both here and in other Australian regions; those people who provide the innovation and dynamism for which the Australian wine industry has become known and admired.

We are proud to have been part of this era of growth and achievement that has made the Mornington Peninsula pre eminent as a Pinot Noir and Chardonnay producing region.

First fruit intake of the season

The first intake of the season, tempranillo, was picked on 24th February 2010. Rollo and Garry are very pleased with the quality of the fruit. more

Australia's newest wine variety

Galicia in North West Spain, divided from Portugal by the Rias Baixas and looking west to the Atlantic, is the natural home of Albarino. For a few short years it seemed Australia would become the variety's second home, except that in April 2009 the CSIRO determined by DNA testing that what we all took to be Albarino in this country is in fact a variety called Savagnin. more
